Instagram Is Redesigning The Explore Page – Things You Need To Know
The Instagram app, owned by Facebook is revamping its Explore tab. Instagram is also coming up with a new enhanced version of its “Stories” app which is kinda clone of its rival Snapchat app. Instagram is now going to have personalized stories recommendation on the Explore Tab. The new feature will be available for the users in the coming weeks.
The explore tab will have a newly revamped navigation bar. The tab will come with shortcuts to shopping and IGTV. The latter one has not picked up the exact way Instagram would have wanted. The main objective behind this particular move is to improve the IGTV users. The new feature added by Instagram will let users to shop products without leaving the app and at the same time, it would try to attract more brands.
Instagram is gradually becoming Facebook’s major driver of revenue growth:
The Explore App already engages more than half of the Instagram users on every month. The company further wants to attract more users to Explore and engage them with the content they are already interested in.
If not now then very soon Instagram is turning out to be Facebook’s main driver of revenue growth. The social media giant is focusing more on making more money from Instagram. Meanwhile, Facebook itself is running out of places to monetize its main app.
While Facebook’s revenue growth is slowing down, as the graph above shows, Wall Street has been impressed with its growth and has rewarded the stock, which is up nearly 40% year-to-date.
